Your only limit is your mind

In class, we are working on a new project called an iconic picture. In this task we have to do an oral presentation about an iconic picture and explain this picture, explain the story behind it, when and where was it taken, why... and a short biography of the photograph. Mine's presentation is about the picture "Awakening", a photography of an Armenian refugee girl named Ewa with the Resignation Syndrome taken by Tomek Kaczor. I was born here, in Spain, but my mother is from Argentina, and there lives almost all my family. Every year I travel there to visit them with my mom and we usually spend a whole month there, that's why I love this country so much. When I go there I visit a lot of places, from the city to the fields, from the desert to the mountain and from the beach to the jungle. My grandmother lives in the middle of the city of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. I normally spend there a few days, there are many things to do there but it's a little bit chaotic, so we prefer to go to the countryside to visit her sister. There, my grandmother's sister has a terrain full of horses and cows, she also grows soya and corn and I love helping her in the farmland. Sometimes we go to visit my grandmother's brothers, they live in Mar de Plata, a big city known by its beach and port. Onha is my dog, she is an 11 years old Bull Terrier all white with a dark brown spot in the eye. My family and I adopted her when she was only 1 year old, she was a very playful and energetic puppy. I remember the first day I met her, I was a child as well, I was with my stepfather at my village's beach and my mother came with a surprise behind her, Onha. I was really happy for having her, I had always had fishes or cats and I wanted a more companion pet. Two years later, we moved to a bigger house and we thought that we could have a new partner for her and we decided to adopt a new dog. We first had one week a dog of the dog pound. He was nice to her and to women but he had a problem with men, he was very aggressive to them and we decided that we couldn't have him. Afterwards, we met Dealer, he was a homeless white Bull Terrier with also a brown spot in the eye and another one in the ear and we decided to adopt him. We all do have a favorite TV program that we love for many reasons, mine is Vikings. This series produced by  Michael Hirst has been created in 2013 originally for the History channel but it's also able on HBO and Netflix. Nowadays, it has 6 seasons and 79 chapters and (each one lasts about 45 minutes) supposedly at the end of this year we will have the next season. Vikings is a dramatic and action TV program based on true facts that happened in the history, it narrates and shows us the life of Ragnar Lothbrok, the most famous Viking in the world, of how from a farmer he becomes the king of Scandinavia and how he conquers new lands, like England. Also, his family is a very important part, his wife, sons and daughters are very outstanding in the evolution of the series. I personally love and enjoy this program because it really reveals to us how was the real's Viking's bloody culture, their god's faith and how were the many wars that they carried out with

Ainhoa is one of my best friends, I could say that she is like my twin. We know each other since a lot of time because we went to the nursery together but then we separated ourselves because we went to different schools when we grew up.Several years later we met each other in the high school here, in Castelló d’Empúries, but we lost our contact. We started meeting again when I started horse riding, we rode at the same pony club and we always coincided. Then, one month later I moved out to her village, Sant Pere . Since then we go together everywhere and I love spending time with her. She is one of the kindest and loyalest person I have ever met in my life, she always tries her best and she always cares about me and her friends. Ainhoa could look rude when you first meet her, but when she get to know her she is a sweetheart. We have a lot of things in common, and we laugh until we can’t no more watching TV programs as Ladybug. She really is my motivation in everything I can’t do,
