As a lot of people knows I do horse riding, I really love it and that's one of the reasons why my favourite animal is the horse. I started riding in the Connemara Pony Club of Sant Mori about two years ago, since then I rode a lot of different horses but I have fallen in love with a mare called Inka.

She is a white Andalusian mare, she really is excellent at jumping, and she is a sweetheart. I first met her because I used to go to help at the barn cleaning or taking care of the sick or old horses. One day my teacher showed me the mare, she told me that she had an owner that barely rode her, and she was neglected, so I started taking care of her. At the beginning the mare was really slim, she was ill-fed, but she ate so we came to the conclusion that she was depressed. Her owner could not do much for her, because he lives far away, so I started pampering and feeding her more intensely, I even made her a box hopping that she could rest better. During that time I got attached to her, I loved her, and I still love her. A few months later she got better, Inka had gained weight, and I was really happy! From that time my dream was to ride her, so one day I asked my teacher if she could ask his owner if I could ride her. One week later my teacher told me that I could ride her, and when I did it I was the happiest girl in the world! That moment was magical, I really felt a connection with her. Since then, I only rode her again about 10 times, because his owner sometimes wanted me to ride her but sometimes not.

Now I still take care of her but I really want to ride this mare and have that unique and precious feeling that I have with her, but I think I will have to wait for it.

My Heroine

Hello, my name is Valentine Barrere and today am going to present you my heroine. My heroine is called Luisa, she is my grandmother, the mother of my mother, and she lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She likes horse riding and she loves travelling, actually she usually travels arround America but next Fabruary she is flying to Bali. She doesn't likes waiting to someone or something because she is not very pacient, not at all. My grandmother works in public transport bringing kids with them schools since a lot of years ago but in her youth she was model .Luisa has gone thought a breast cancer and she suppered that difficult challenge beeing strong and beeing positive, as she is. She is my heroine because she has suffered a lot of tragedies but she always stands up, she always fights it with that beautiful smile she has, I admire her.
